During the Covid 19 lockdown, it was suggested to me by friends and family that I should start a blog to share information, thoughts and knowledge instead of to the echo chamber that Facebook had become. I was already planning to design a website for my nursing, health and spiritual coaching so I decided to combine the two.
I spent a lot of effort and time investigating all issues surrounding the pandemic and sharing on Facebook/ Twitter/Instagram. What I quickly realised was not everyone has the same concerns or thoughts as I did, so I rediretced that energy towards building the ideas for this website and also studying like crazy to obtain not one, but several qualifications to add to my belt during 2020-2021.

For many (me included) it was and still is a difficult and confusing time, but it was also an intense period of growth and development. I was like a sponge, sucking up information from everywhere and deep diving into areas I had never considered before. The plan was always to have a website with a blog, but this helped my confidence in writing one and making a start. So this blog will be representative of my sometimes “off on a tangent” musings, but all related to The Jenuis Concept.
The blog will include my personal journey but also relevant discussions on what is happening in this sometimes crazy world we live. It is apparent to me that the answer to true happiness and health lies deep within ourselves.
Modern health care and society tend to focus on the symptoms and visible problems, rather than the underlying root cause. Dis-ease is caused by a imbalance in the mind, body and soul and only when all three are in balance can you have true health and well being. Modern medicine focuses on the body (or matter), or the mind, but rarely are the two considered to be interconnected.
For example, it is well documented and evidence based that issues with gut microbiome can be the cause, or a contributing factor to several mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety and OCD. The spirit or metaphysical is rarely touched in modern health care. In fact, it is often discredited or laughed at and not considered to be of any importance.
The site and my services are a guide to help you achieve you true inner power and learn how to use the force we all have inside of us. The overall aim is to give information and knowledge in an accesible way that you resonate with, in order to find a path to wellness. You cannot just focus on one area, all aspects of a person’s life should be considered as to the impact on their health.

Bruce Lipton, an American developmental biologist, is an expert on what causes the body’s natural harmony to break down and experience DIS-EASE, which is a reflection of the body’s inability to maintain normal control of its function-providing systems. Because behaviour is created through the interaction of proteins with their complementary signals, there are really only two sources of dis-ease: either the proteins are defective or the signals are distorted.
It is thought only 5% of the worlds population is born with birth defects secondary to mutated genetic codes. However 95% of the population arrive on the planet with a perfectly functional genes. Bruce Lipton says “Because the majority of us have a perfectly healthy genome and produce functional proteins, illness in this group can likely be attributed to the nature of the signal”.
There are three primary situations in which signals contribute to dysfunction and dis-ease. The first is trauma. If you twist or misalign your spine and physically impede the transmission of the nervous system’s signals, it may result in a distortion of the information being exchanged between the brain and the body’s cells, tissues, and organs.
The second is toxicity. Toxins and poisons in our system represent inappropriate chemistry that can distort the signal’s information on its path between the nervous system and the targeted cells and tissues. Altered signals, derived from either of these causes, can inhibit or modify normal behaviors and lead to the expression of dis-ease.
The third and most important influence of signals on the dis-ease process is thought, the action of the mind. Mind-related illnesses do not require that there be anything physically wrong with the body at the outset of the dis-ease. Most of our programing of our sub conscious mind if before the age of 10. Sometimes illness can manifest as a result of trauma in younger life or adaptations in the bodys fight/ flight system.

Health is predicated upon the nervous system’s ability to accurately perceive environmental information and selectively engage appropriate, life-sustaining behaviors. If a mind misinterprets environmental signals and generates an inappropriate response, survival is threatened because the body’s behaviors become out of synch with the environment. We may not think that a thought could be enough to undermine an entire system, but, in fact, misperceptions can be lethal.
The journey to wellness is not a linear one, and no one journey is the same. But essentially, the more information and knowledge you have to understand your symptoms and start listening to you body, mind and soul, the more control you will have over your health.
With this information in mind, the Jenius Concept includes resources, research, news, links, knowledge and personal experience to help guide your way through your own individual path to wellness and healing in a natural and alternative way, backed by science and rationale. It aims to guide you in a direction that helps you unravel your health challenges or wellness from a root cause. Once you reach the root, you can heal in a beautiful way.
